Affiliate Program Terms

Last updated: August 2026

1. The Program

The Napkin Deals Affiliate Program (“the Program”) is operated by the entities identified in our Terms of Service, which are incorporated by reference and govern anything not addressed here. By applying to or participating in the Program you agree to these Program terms.

The Program is single-tier. Commissions are earned solely on qualifying purchases made by customers you refer. No compensation is paid for recruiting other affiliates, and there is no fee to join.

2. Enrollment

Participation requires an application and our approval. We review every application and may accept or decline at our discretion, including for audience quality, channel type, or brand fit. Approval is personal to you and may not be transferred, sold, or shared.

3. Commissions and Attribution

Unless a separate written agreement states otherwise, commissions are:

  • 30% of subscription payments, recurring for the first 12 months of each referred paid buyer subscription (currently the Pro and Buyer Elite plans);
  • a flat US$500 for each referred customer who enters a Private Advisor or Embedded engagement;
  • attributed on a 90-day window: a signup qualifies if it occurs within 90 days of a click on your referral link, on a last-click basis.

Commissions apply to buyer subscriptions only. Referrals of sellers, listings, or whole transactions are not part of this Program — they are governed by separate written referral agreements (see Refer a Deal), and nothing in this Program entitles you to any share of a transaction success fee.

4. Payouts, Refunds, and Clawbacks

Commissions are confirmed approximately 60 days after the calendar month in which the underlying payment was made, to cover the refund window, and are then paid monthly once your confirmed balance reaches US$50. The payout method is agreed at approval. If a referred payment is refunded, reversed, or charged back, the corresponding commission is reversed. If a referred subscriber cancels, recurring commission stops with their subscription. Amounts unclaimed twelve months after a closed account may be forfeited.

5. Required Disclosure

You must clearly and conspicuously disclose your material connection to Napkin Deals wherever you share your link, as required by the U.S. FTC’s Endorsement Guides and equivalent rules in your jurisdiction. A plain sentence near the link — such as “I earn a commission if you subscribe through my link” — satisfies this. Ready-made wording is included in the partner kit. Failure to disclose is grounds for removal.

6. Prohibited Conduct

The following result in removal and forfeiture of unpaid commissions:

  • Self-referrals, or referring accounts you control or share billing with;
  • Bidding on “Napkin Deals” or confusingly similar terms in paid search, or using our trademarks in domains, handles, or ad copy that implies you are us;
  • Unsolicited bulk messaging (email, SMS, DMs) containing your link;
  • Cookie stuffing, forced clicks, iframes, toolbars, or other artificial attribution;
  • Misleading claims about Napkin Deals, guaranteed earnings or deal outcomes, or any representation that we score listings or guarantee results;
  • Posting your link on coupon or “deal code” aggregation sites;
  • Any unlawful promotion, or promotion alongside unlawful or deceptive content.

7. Relationship and Marks

You are an independent contractor — not an employee, agent, partner, or representative of Napkin Deals — and you may not make commitments on our behalf. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive license to use the Napkin Deals name, logo, and the materials in the partner kit solely to promote the Program while enrolled.

8. Term, Changes, and Termination

Either party may end participation at any time. On termination for convenience, confirmed commissions earned to date are paid in the normal cycle; on termination for a violation of Section 6, unpaid commissions are forfeited. We may modify these terms or the commission schedule prospectively; continued participation after notice of a change constitutes acceptance. Changes never apply retroactively to already-confirmed commissions.

9. General

Liability limitations, dispute resolution, and governing law follow the master Terms of Service. Nothing in the Program constitutes financial, legal, or investment advice, and affiliate materials must not present it as such.
