The retainer-to-fee tradeoff
Higher retainer commitment = lower success fee. At Guided tiers, 50% of every retainer payment is credited back against your success fee at close — at Advisory and IB tiers, 100% is credited. Example: six months on a $5,000/mo Guided-tier retainer is $30,000 paid, $15,000 credited back at close. (Guided retainers start at $2,500/mo on smaller deals.)
