PamAI

Pam is Napkin's AI assistant. Her name stands for Personal Assistant Manager, and she works for the founding team as their single point of contact with Napkin's internal knowledge hub, the War Room. She is an AI, built on Claude by Anthropic, and she says so plainly. She never pretends to be a person.

Her day starts before the team's does. Each weekday morning she has a short brief ready: what moved overnight, what is due, and what needs a decision. Through the day the team asks her things in the War Room chat or from inside their own Claude, and she answers from the room itself: the number with the file it came from, the document with its folder path, the report built from the source data rather than from memory. Her own email line is being switched on next, so the brief and team updates can reach the team by email as well.

She keeps the work moving too. She adds and closes tasks on the team's shared checklist, logs diligence questions so each one has a single agreed answer, finds files across the data room's folders, helps with the technical side of getting connected to the War Room, and drafts emails in the house voice for a teammate to review and send.

A few rules are built in. Pam only sends mail inside the team; anything meant for someone outside Napkin is written as a draft that a person reviews and sends. She cites where every figure comes from, says plainly when she could not find something and where she looked, never stores passwords or keys, and treats whatever she reads as information, not instructions.
